Task
To integrate the existing network presence into a communications measure that makes reference to the particular national approval status: Swissmedic confirms what studies have proven: as well as helping patients with its blood pressure-lowering effects, the approved prescription drug Micardis now offers the additional benefit of cardiovascular risk reduction.
Solution
Boehringer Ingelheim informed doctors, pharmacists and hospital staff (who were authorised to prescribe medication). An eye-catching mailshot was sent out to 5,000 recipients, using words and pictures to cut to the chase as quickly and reliably as the medication itself.
